Take a Seat

Take a Seat aims to encourage people, specifically Jews who are divided by perspectives and opinions, to step out of their comfort zones and into a good conversation with other Jews from different walks of life.

Step 1:

With your help, we will set up events, exhibits and create installations placing different kinds of chairs in any public space, parks, schools halls even galleries.

Step 2:

Jews will be invited to Take a Seat on our chairs and encouraged to engage with each other. Different chairs would represent different topics, e.g. Trump, this will help guide the conversation.

Step 3:

Participants will be given a time frame to discuss their views on the various topics and then move on to the next chair/person. Our toolkits will help you get the conversation going, which will allow you to colour code the chairs/lanyard-cards according to topics.
